Cambo Actar-19 19 mm Ultra Wide Angle Lens for Actus
The Cambo Actar-19 is the ultra wide-angle lens of the Actus system for mirrorless and DSLR cameras. It is permanently attached to an Actus lens panel and, thanks to its relatively light weight and modest size, is well suited to interior, landscape and architectural photography on location.
The lens has very little geometric distortion. Its 71 mm image circle allows 15 mm of horizontal shift each side on a full-frame (24 x 36 mm) sensor in landscape mode and 18 mm in portrait mode; with the larger 33 x 44 mm sensor of Fujifilm GFX 50/100 and Hasselblad X2D cameras it still offers at least 9 mm of shift. The image circle also covers the 54 x 41 mm sensor of modern digital backs, usable with the on-sensor shutter of Phase One and Hasselblad backs. The optical design has 17 elements in 13 groups, including elements with Nano Crystal Coat, and the aperture ranges from f/4 to f/32 in half-stop increments. The aperture is manual and no electronic connections are needed.
