Cambo Actar-35 Retrofit for Actus (Contax 645 Distagon 35 mm Conversion Service)

The Cambo Actar-35 is a rebuild of the Carl Zeiss Distagon 3.5/35 from the Contax 645 system, for use on Cambo Actus view cameras with DSLR or mirrorless cameras. This is a retrofit: Cambo rebuilds an existing Distagon 35 lens supplied by the customer. The focusing movement is removed (focusing is done with the Actus rear standard), the electronic aperture is replaced by a manual aperture and the lens is fixed to an Actus lens plate, without changing the optical design.

Since the image circle covers the 4.5 x 6 format, it allows 10 mm of horizontal shift each side with a full-frame (24 x 36 mm) sensor and 6 mm with a 33 x 44 mm sensor. The aperture ranges from f/3.5 to f/32.
