Calibrite ColorChecker Video Mega
The Calibrite ColorChecker Video Mega is designed for long, wide shots when the distance between camera and subject is too great for a smaller target. Measuring 1020 x 1520 mm, it is the largest target in the ColorChecker Video range, suited to cine wide shots (landscape, cityscape, custom sets), event filmmaking (concerts, churches, sports, stage) and aerial filmmaking with drones. It avoids moving the camera closer or changing focal length, so the target is shot in the same light falling on the subject.
The video target layout is designed for vectorscopes and waveforms, on camera or in software: two rows of six saturated and desaturated chromatic chips aligned with the vectorscope colour axes, six skin tone chips from light to dark, four large grey levels (white, 40 IRE grey, deep grey and high gloss black) for exposure with waveform, zebras or false colour, a six-step linear greyscale for highlights and shadows, and black and white illumination check chips at two corners.
