Cambo Redwing Compact Light Boom RD-1101 with Filled Counterweight Bag
The Redwing light boom uses brass bearings for ultra-smooth movements and precise positioning. Thanks to its parallelogram design the light source always stays parallel to the subject, regardless of height. The head extension at the end of the boom offers up to 360° rotation, controlled by a handle at the pivot point. The sliding counterweight system balances the weight of the light and modifier: once the balance is set, the light can be raised or lowered and simply let go, and the boom stays in position without locking a clamp or crank. It assembles in less than five minutes without tools and fits any stand with a 5/8" female connection. The short counterweight section makes the compact version suitable for small studios, table-top work and location shooting.
The RD-1101 comes with a counterweight bag pre-filled with 6.8 kg of lead shot; the RD-1100 is the same boom with an empty bag.
