Cambo WRA-2138 Wide RS Lens Panel with Rodenstock HR Digaron-SW Float 138 mm, Long Barrel
The Cambo WRA-2138 float lens panel is dedicated to digital backs with a sensor-activated electronic shutter. It carries a Rodenstock 6.5/138 mm HR Digaron float lens with aperture only, mounted in a helical focusing mount that also drives a floating element for optimal sharpness at any focused distance. It fits all Cambo Wide cameras with SLW adapters and is compatible with the Phase One XT system, without data transfer.
The Rodenstock HR Digaron-SW float 138 mm f/6.5 is a long focal length lens for technical cameras, intended for distances from infinity down to a 1:5 image scale. Its optical design has eleven elements in ten groups, with resolving power close to the diffraction limit across the largest digital sensors and up to the edge of the 110 mm image circle, which stays constant over the whole focusing range and allows shift and tilt. Turning the focusing ring automatically drives the floating element group, minimising aberrations throughout the focusing range; distortion is almost always below 0.1% and chromatic aberration is suppressed.
