Somerset Enhanced Velvet is a 100% cotton mould-made digital fine art paper, available in 330, 255 and 225 g/m². It is made at the St Cuthberts Mill in England, which has produced paper since the 1700s, using the cylinder mould process to recreate the feel of a handmade paper. Its delicate grain texture emphasises detail in the final image; the natural white base, free of optical brighteners, adds vibrancy and depth to colours with strong contrast and very deep blacks, and the exclusive inkjet coating ensures outstanding image quality and longevity for limited and open editions.
Somerset is a printmaking paper used by artists for established traditional techniques such as etching, lithography, screen printing, relief and letterpress printing; with the Somerset Enhanced range the same paper is available for photographers, printers and artists to reproduce their original work digitally in limited editions.
