Genelec 7040A Active Studio Subwoofer
The Genelec 7040A is a compact, portable stereo subwoofer for production environments where space is limited, and the ideal companion to the 8010 and 8020 monitors. Genelec Laminar Spiral Enclosure (LSE) technology gives precise bass articulation and extension down to 30 Hz.
A 6.5" woofer and a Genelec-designed 50 W Class D amplifier deliver 100 dB of undistorted SPL. Two balanced XLR inputs and two XLR outputs connect the subwoofer between source and monitors, and Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) puts it into standby when not in use.
