The Laowa 100mm f/2.8 Tilt-Shift 1X Macro is one of the first Laowa tilt-shift macro lenses for full-frame mirrorless cameras; thanks to its large image circle it can also be used on medium format. This version has the Sony E mount. It combines a precise tilt of ±10° and a shift of ±12 mm with 1:1 magnification, giving precise control over perspective, plane of focus and depth of field.

Tilt moves the plane of focus to keep a chosen surface sharp without stopping down, or to create selective-focus and miniature effects; shift corrects converging verticals in architecture and makes stitched panoramas easy. Separate rotation systems let the tilt and shift directions be adjusted for flexible composition. The fast f/2.8 aperture helps in low light, the optical design has 13 elements in 10 groups and a built-in Arca-Swiss compatible tripod mount is provided.
