SKAARHOJ PTZ Extreme
SKAARHOJ PTZ Extreme is a premium tactile controller for PTZ cameras and robotic systems from many brands, including Panasonic, Sony, Canon, BirdDog, JVC, PTZOptics, Lumens, Bolin, AIDA and Vizrt. With the SKAARHOJ Blue Pill operating system it controls multiple cameras, pan-tilt heads, motorised sliders and other robotic devices from different manufacturers at the same time.
It combines an ultra-precise 3-axis Hall Effect joystick, a custom aluminium zoom rocker, a stepless friction-balanced focus wheel and a large iris knob. Cameras are selected from a dedicated row of buttons, while presets, image parameters, traces and lens control are on multi-function buttons, encoders and OLED screens.
The built-in Blue Pill server integrates the panel with the rest of the production: tally forwarding between the live production system and the cameras, signal routing management (for example bringing the controlled camera to an auxiliary monitor, preview or programme) and cross-protocol communication. Default configurations give plug-and-play operation, and any parameter can be assigned to any button or knob, including part of the panel for vision mixing. PTZ Extreme can be expanded with Frame Shot Pro, Frame Shot Plus, Frame Shot Uno, XC7 and other SKAARHOJ panels.
