Sonnet Echo II DV Desktop 2-Slot Thunderbolt to PCIe Expansion System ECHO-2DDV-TB3

Computers such as the Mac Studio and other M series Macs have Thunderbolt/USB4 ports each driven by its own Thunderbolt bus. The Echo II DV Desktop exploits this by connecting two full-length (up to 12.28 in) PCIe 3.0 card slots, each with its own Thunderbolt interface, via two cables, so two bandwidth-hungry DV I/O cards can work in one enclosure with up to double the bandwidth for double the video channels.

For maximum performance with more than one bandwidth-hungry card, such as the DeckLink 8K, it must be connected to two Thunderbolt ports on the computer; with only one port available, the two interfaces can be daisy-chained using one of the supplied cables. It supports power-hungry non-GPU cards such as the AJA Kona 5 and Blackmagic DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G and powers on and off automatically with the computer.
