The Teenage Engineering OB-4 is a thin portable high-fidelity loudspeaker with a rechargeable Li-ion battery. You can listen via line input, Bluetooth, FM radio or disk mode, and OB-4 memorizes everything you play on an endless looping tape, so you can rewind the radio and loop or remix what you hear. Four speaker elements create a stereo field, while a flow-optimized bass reflex duct delivers the low end.

The motorized interface uses a digital-motion controlled volume knob and tape reel. The folding handle doubles as a stand and houses an extended antenna. Disk mode currently includes ambient, karma, metronome, noise and loop functions, with updates delivered through the orthoplay app. Bluetooth classic handles audio streaming and Bluetooth Low Energy allows wireless volume control via the orthoplay app and ortho remote.
