The AJA DANTE-12GAM is an Audio over IP (AoIP) Mini-Converter that embeds and disembeds SDI audio to and from a Dante network. Besides Dante streams it works with AES67 and SMPTE ST 2110-30 IP audio, bridging SDI infrastructure with IP audio for live events, fly kits, OB vans and facilities. It is housed in a rugged aluminium enclosure with front-panel display, push buttons and front-to-back active cooling.
This is the dual-channel TR-BNC version, supplied with the BNC-TR-12G Dual BNC 12G Coax Transceiver SFP and the dual video license installed: it provides two 12G-SDI BNC inputs and two outputs, each carrying 16 embedded audio channels, for up to 64 channels of SDI/Dante conversion simultaneously, with two internal signal generators.
