AJA Io 4K Plus 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 I/O over Thunderbolt 3

The AJA Io 4K Plus provides professional video and audio I/O for 4K/UltraHD, 2K, HD and SD workflows, with support for HFR, HDR and deep color production. Over Thunderbolt it handles formats from SD to full 4K with frame rates up to 60p on both 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 with single cable simplicity, and supports HDR over HDMI and SDI. Its four SDI BNC ports can be configured as four bidirectional 3G/1.5G HD/SD channels, as single link 12G/6G 4K/UltraHD input and output, or as dual link and four link 3G/1.5G 4K/UltraHD connections with Quadrant or 2SI mapping. A dedicated BNC provides an HD-SDI down-converted monitor output when working in 4K/UltraHD.

Embedded 16-channel SDI and 8-channel HDMI audio are supported, together with 8 channels of balanced analog audio on a TASCAM-pinout DB-25 connector configurable as inputs, outputs or both, and a front headphone jack with level control. Two Thunderbolt 3 ports allow daisy-chaining, RS-422 provides VTR control, and reference and LTC connections integrate the unit into larger productions. With AJA Control Room it supports HDR metadata capture and HDR auto playback detection. It works with macOS, Windows and Linux and with applications such as OBS Studio, vMix, Telestream Wirecast, Adobe Creative Suite, Apple Final Cut Pro and Avid Media Composer. A 4-pin XLR DC input supports AC or battery operation.
