AJA Ki Pro GO2 Multi-Channel H.265/H.264 Recorder and Player
The AJA Ki Pro GO2 is a portable multi-channel H.265 (HEVC) and H.264 (AVC) recorder offering up to four channels of simultaneous HD or SD recording to qualified USB drives and/or network storage, with redundant recording. Four 3G-SDI and four HDMI inputs with flexible channel assignment connect to a wide range of sources, from routers to professional and prosumer cameras and DSLRs; input frame synchronizers mean sources do not need to be genlocked, and de-interlacers on each input allow progressive recordings from interlaced sources. Recordings are standard .MP4 files with five selectable VBR quality settings per channel, up to 15 Mbps for H.265 and 25 Mbps for H.264.
Four front USB ports and a fifth on the rear accept off-the-shelf USB 3.2 Gen 1 media, and any USB port or SMB network storage can be used as the primary destination with any USB port as backup, for immediate handout of copies to clients or post-production. SDI and HDMI monitoring outputs can show a matrix of up to four channels or a single full-screen channel, with Enhanced Super Out overlays for timecode, audio levels and media status. Each channel records two channels of embedded audio or analog audio from the XLR inputs (line, mic or +48 V phantom power). The unit has a built-in HD screen with front panel transport buttons, a web UI for remote control and file downloads, and a half rack wide, 2RU design for portable or rackmount use.
