AJA Ki Pro Ultra 12G 4K/UltraHD/HD Recorder and Player
The AJA Ki Pro Ultra 12G is a multi-channel digital recorder and player offering up to four channels of simultaneous HD recording or, in Single-Channel mode, 4K/UltraHD/2K/HD Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR capture and playback; Avid DNxHD MXF is also supported for HD. It offers 12G-SDI single cable simplicity for rasters up to full 4K, three additional 3G-SDI ports for multi-channel HD or quad-link capture, HDMI 2.0 I/O and SFP cages for optional fiber or HD-BNC modules. Recording supports six quality levels of Apple ProRes up to ProRes 4444 XQ, 12-bit 4:4:4 workflows and HDR (HDR10/PQ and HLG) on input and output.
In Multi-Channel mode, internal frame synchronizers eliminate the need to genlock the sources, each channel can use its own profile, and the files are discrete, timecode-accurate recordings ready for multi-camera editing. Two PAK SSD media bays allow rollover and Infinite Record, with Ki Protect for data integrity. Up to 16 channels of embedded audio per input are supported, plus analog and AES/EBU audio via DB-25. A 4.8-inch 720p LCD, transport buttons, a web UI for remote control and file transfers, RS-422, REF, LTC and a REST API complete the unit, in a half rack wide, 2RU design.
