AJA OG-12G-AM openGear 12G-SDI 16-Channel AES/EBU Audio Embedder/Disembedder

OG-12G-AM is a 16-channel AES/EBU audio embedder/disembedder openGear card with 12G-SDI input and output up to 4K/UltraHD. Embedding and disembedding are selectable per channel pair, either passing the 12G-SDI input audio or embedding the incoming AES/EBU audio, and the eight AES BNC connectors can each be set as inputs or outputs. The card automatically detects and configures itself to the input video standard.

A typical use is to disembed the AES audio from a 4K 12G-SDI signal for a mixing console and embed the mix back into the SDI output, for example towards a Ki Pro Ultra 12G recorder. An internal 1.5G-SDI signal generator lets the embedder path work even without a source connected to the SDI input. It is designed for high-density openGear 2RU frames, including AJA's OG-X-FR, and is configured, monitored and controlled with Ross DashBoard software on Windows, macOS and Linux, from a connected computer or over the local network.
