AJA OG-FS-Mini openGear 3G-SDI Utility Frame Sync with SDI and HDMI Outputs
OG-FS-Mini is an openGear utility frame sync that brings AJA's FS frame sync technology to an openGear card, synchronising untimed 3G-SDI, HD and SD video signals to an external reference. It converts a wide range of video formats to the house standard with a 3G-SDI input and output, an HDMI output and two 3-pin terminal block connectors for balanced analogue audio, and also provides 10-bit up, down and cross-conversion.
The untimed input is frame synchronised, processed and routed to both the SDI output for production and the HDMI output for monitoring, while the user selects which two audio channels go to the analogue monitor outputs. Nominal video delay is one frame. OG-FS-Mini supports 3G-SDI Level A only and passes through embedded audio ancillary data only. The card is designed for high-density openGear 2RU frames, including AJA's OG-X-FR, and is monitored and controlled with Ross DashBoard software on Windows, macOS and Linux, from a connected computer or over the local network.
