AJA OG-HA5-12G-T openGear HDMI 2.0 to 12G-SDI Converter with LC Fiber Transmitter
OG-HA5-12G-T is an openGear HDMI 2.0 to 12G-SDI converter with a single channel 12G fibre transmitter on an LC connector, for extending HDMI 4K/UltraHD audio and video signals up to 10 km over single mode fibre. It ships with the FiberLC-1T-12G SFP installed and includes all the functions of the OG-HA5-12G. It converts an HDMI 2.0 input to single link 12G-SDI for 4K/UltraHD, with two 12G-SDI distribution amplifier outputs carrying 8 or 2 channels of embedded audio from the HDMI source. EDID emulation ensures the connected source continuously supplies the preferred video formats. Full 4K (4096x2160) and UltraHD (3840x2160) are converted at up to 50/60 fps, and the equalised HDMI input supports runs up to 30 m with 24 gauge cable.
The card is designed for high-density openGear 2RU frames, including AJA's OG-X-FR, and is monitored and controlled with Ross DashBoard software on Windows, macOS and Linux, from a connected computer or over the local network.
