AJA OG-ROI-SDI openGear 3G-SDI to 3G-SDI/HDMI Scan Converter with Region of Interest Scaling
OG-ROI-SDI is an openGear card for scan conversion of SDI inputs to 3G-SDI and HDMI baseband video outputs, with Region of Interest image scaling and aspect ratio and frame rate conversion, for bringing extractions from 3G-SDI sources into 3G-SDI and HDMI feeds. An SDI loop-through passes the source on, and two channels of disembedded audio are available on balanced analogue outputs.
In the free Ross DashBoard application a Region of Interest can be selected interactively from the incoming signal, removing interface clutter and menu bars, and scaled to the output resolution with AJA's scaling algorithms. Aspect ratio, image rotation and frame rate conversion are controlled on screen, with DashBoard showing the incoming formats and the output settings. Several cards in one frame can feed side-by-side displays rotated to portrait mode, using the SDI pass-through to keep the image in sync. The card is designed for high-density openGear 2RU frames, including AJA's OG-X-FR, and is monitored and controlled with Ross DashBoard software on Windows, macOS and Linux, from a connected computer or over the local network.
