Compact Wide RS technical camera body (1 kg) with vertical and horizontal rear shift, precision knobs, double wooden handgrips and interchangeable digital back interfaces.
Cambo WRS-1250 Wide RS Camera Body with Wooden Handgrips
The Cambo Wide RS body is for photographers who want something more compact than the Wide DS but need shift movements. It offers both vertical and horizontal shift of the rear standard, driven by high-precision knobs: this gives architectural photographers the shift movements they need, and lets digital users create vertical and horizontal panoramas by stitching several shots. Lens panels with tilt movements are also available to extend depth of field on the horizontal or vertical plane according to the Scheimpflug rule.
Like the other Cambo Wide models, the RS has interchangeable interfaces for digital backs with Hasselblad V or H, Phase One / Mamiya and Contax 645AF mounts, plus an interface plate for Leaf AFi and Sinar HY6. It accepts the full range of Schneider Digitar and Rodenstock digital lenses on WDS panels, from 23 to 150 mm. The WRS-1250 has double wooden handgrips for stable handheld shooting and a built-in spirit level. The 3/8" tripod mount is removable, reducing the camera height to 140 mm; the WRS-333 tripod block with internal levelling base, rotating mount and spigot can be added. A cable release is included and can be placed on the right or left grip.
