Datavideo HDR-90 ProRes 4K Video Recorder - 1U Rackmount
The Datavideo HDR-90 is a ProRes 4K recorder that records to two SSD drives; this is the 1u rackmount version. It records up to 2160p60 from the SDI and HDMI interfaces on the back, with SDI from HD up to 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 and 1.4 support, and can record up to four 1080p sources at the same time. It has one 4K HDMI input, one 12G-SDI input and three 3G-SDI inputs, plus video outputs with embedded audio. When one SSD is full, recording continues automatically on the second, and storage is easily extended by swapping a disk.
Video is recorded in 10-bit 4:2:2 Apple ProRes 422, a codec widely used in professional post-production. The 5" high-resolution LCD touchscreen on the front is used for monitoring, settings and configuration, and provides scopes and tools such as waveform, vectorscope, focus peaking, zebra and histogram.
