The Kaiser RSP Xtra column is made from a special multi-section extrusion, black anodized, with printed cm and inch scales. The camera arm is height-adjusted by motor at two load-independent speeds; the worm drive holds any height position precisely, an automatic end stop works via magnetic sensor, and operation is via cable remote control. The cast aluminium camera arm adjusts horizontally on specially shaped parallel guides with rack and cranks for left- or right-hand use, with two locking screws. The camera mounting plate swivels by +/-90° with high-precision fine adjustment and has a built-in spirit level.
