The Kaiser promask is a professional masking frame for enlarging, also usable as a subject holder for copying flat originals, for formats up to 30 x 40 cm. It has a margin stop with pre-clamping device, format markings and sinkable register pins at standard hole intervals for centred positioning of photo paper or originals.
The frame is made of non-warping moulded aluminium with cm and inch scales; a pneumatic spring with end position damping keeps the raised frame open. Four sliding masking strips offer fast adjustment and fine setting by friction drive, can be locked and are individually adjustable for border widths from 2 to 45 mm. The light grey base plate stands on non-slip rubber feet.
