Kiloview E3 4K HDMI and 3G-SDI Multi-Interface Video Encoder
The Kiloview E3 is a video encoder with HDMI input and loop-through up to 4Kp30 and 3G-SDI input up to 1080p60. It encodes either source, mixes both into one output in PIP or PBP mode, or encodes both simultaneously at up to 1080p60, using H.265 (HEVC) or H.264. HEVC keeps image quality at lower bitrates, saving more than 50% of bandwidth. Supported protocols include NDI HX3, NDI HX2, SRT, RTMP/RTMPS, HLS, TS over UDP and RTSP, for live production, remote production, live streaming and recording.
It can stream to up to 8 destinations simultaneously with bitrates up to 120 Mbps. Audio is taken from the 3.5 mm line input or embedded in SDI/HDMI (8 channels from SDI, 4 from HDMI) and encoded in formats including AAC, MPEG-2, Opus and G.711. A 1.14" LCD with touch buttons shows connectivity, IP address, CPU and memory usage, resolution and tally status. All inputs can be recorded in .MOV/.MP4 to USB storage (3 ports) or NAS while streaming.
