The Kramer FC-46H2 de-embeds the audio from HDMI signals with resolutions up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) and data rates up to 18 Gbps (6 Gbps per graphic channel), supporting HDR and HDCP 2.2/1.4. The audio can be taken from the HDMI input or from the HDMI output ARC (Audio Return Channel) and is output simultaneously to S/PDIF and to a 5-pin balanced analogue output. DIP-switches select the EDID mode (pass-through, lock or force 2-channel LPCM), and Kramer re-Klocking and equalization rebuild the digital signal for longer distances. A front-panel button selects the audio source, LEDs show status, and firmware is upgraded via mini USB. The compact fanless DigiTOOLS enclosure can be surface mounted, or three units fit side by side in 1U with the rack adapter.
