Magewell Pro Convert HDMI Plus Module

The Magewell Pro Convert HDMI Plus Module converts an HDMI input into a high-bandwidth HD NDI stream with very low latency, with an HDMI loop-through output. It accepts sources up to 4096x2160 at 30 fps (4:4:4/4:2:2) or 60 fps (4:2:0) and down-converts them to HD NDI, with typical outputs up to 2048x1080p60 and 1280x720p120, and carries 8 channels of HDMI embedded audio.

Like all Modator modules it is hot-swappable and centrally manageable through the Modator chassis touchscreen and Web UI or through Magewell Control Hub, while its own Web UI gives real-time information on device and signal and lets you set deinterlacing, EDID, scaling, frame rate, aspect ratio and network connection.

Notes

• Modator module: it is installed in a slot of the Magewell Modator 2U rack chassis (sold separately), which supplies power (up to 20 W per slot) and centralized cooling. The interface list of the module includes no separate power input.
• Each module must be connected with its own Ethernet cable and its own signal cables; the Ethernet port of the chassis is only used to configure the chassis.
• Hot-swappable: modules can be inserted or removed while the chassis is running. Up to 10 modules of any type can be mixed in one Modator 2U.
• Magewell also offers the standalone version of the same specification (Pro Convert HDMI Plus).
