Magewell USB Capture HDMI Plus 32040
The Magewell USB Capture HDMI Plus is a one-channel 2K capture device connected via USB 3.0 (compatible with USB 2.0). It captures HDMI with embedded audio and has an HDMI loop-through output; inputs up to 4096 x 2160, including 4Kp60 4:2:0 from game consoles such as PS4 Pro and Xbox One S, are automatically downscaled to 2K for recording or streaming. A 3.5 mm jack takes a microphone, as an alternative to HDMI audio, or outputs the HDMI embedded audio to headphones, and the device also works as a USB audio card.
The device works with Windows, Linux, Mac and Chrome OS and with conferencing and streaming applications such as Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Skype for Business, Google Hangouts, GoToMeeting, VLC, OBS Studio and XSplit. It detects the input format automatically, can capture at frame rates up to 120 fps, ships with USB Capture Utility and Capture Express, offers an SDK for Windows, Linux and Mac and is designed for continuous 24/7 operation, with an LED status indicator.
