Magewell USB Capture SDI 4K Plus 32100
The Magewell USB Capture SDI 4K Plus is a one-channel 4K capture device connected via USB 3.0 (compatible with USB 2.0). It captures SD, HD, 3G, 2K or 6G SDI with embedded audio at input resolutions up to 4096 x 2160, with an SDI loop-through output, and supports long cable runs: up to 150 m for 3G-SDI and 75 m for 6G-SDI. Capture resolutions reach 3840 x 2160 at 30 fps or 1920 x 1080 at 90 fps (actual frame rate can be limited by the host and resolution). A 3.5 mm jack provides unbalanced line input or outputs the SDI embedded audio. Magewell recommends connecting the source directly, without additional AV converters.
The device works with Windows, Linux, Mac and Chrome OS and with conferencing and streaming applications such as Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Skype for Business, Google Hangouts, GoToMeeting, VLC, OBS Studio and XSplit. It detects the input format automatically, ships with USB Capture Utility and Capture Express, offers an SDK for Windows, Linux and Mac and is designed for continuous 24/7 operation, with an LED status indicator.
