The Manfrotto 528XB is a sturdy single-stage location tripod with a single-tube leg structure and a 50 kg load capacity. The tubes are made of stainless steel for strength under heavy loads and corrosion resistance, and aluminium to save weight. The leg spread is fully adjustable and also has a 30° locked position for faster set-up and greater strength.

The 100 mm bowl accepts industry-standard half-ball video heads and lets you level the head quickly for accurate panning; the included claw ball allows the use of heads without a half ball. The mid-level spreader has telescopic ratchet braces that click into the preset positions; each brace can be set individually, so each leg can be positioned separately.
