The Manfrotto Befree Advanced Carbon Twist is a lightweight travel tripod and ball head kit for advanced hobbyist photographers. The carbon fibre legs keep weight to a minimum while providing stability and rigidity, and the spider is made of lightweight, solid magnesium for stability on any terrain. The M-lock twist locks are fast and compact, with no protruding parts, and close neatly around the head for easy storage in the bag.
The ergonomic leg-angle selector works for both right- and left-handed users and offers three independent leg angles, and the Easy Link connector on the spider supports lights or reflectors. It comes with the Manfrotto 494 aluminium centre ball head, which has three independent controls: a main knob for the ball lock, an integrated friction control knob to balance the equipment weight, and an independent panoramic knob that keeps the horizon level when panning. Its plate is compatible with both Manfrotto RC2 and Arca-Swiss style attachments. A carrying bag is included.
