Manfrotto MOVE Quick Release System MVAQR
MOVE is a Manfrotto quick release system designed to reduce downtime when switching a camera between tripods, sliders, monopods, motion control gear and stabilisers. It is based on a flat base and plate that form a universal connector: bases go on the supports and plates on the camera systems, so gear can be moved from one set-up to the next without screwing and unscrewing plates.
The flat base is 60 mm in diameter and mounts on a standard 3/8" thread, so it works with tripods, sliders, monopods and other supports. The plate has standard 3/8" and 1/4" top screws, an anti-rotation pin and a 1/4" adapter seat. The plate simply drops in to lock, with 360° freedom, and the X LOCK twist mechanism increases rigidity at the mounting point. Made of hard-anodised machined aluminium, it holds up to 20 kg and weighs 220 g.
