This Novoflex set combines two adapters to mount Mamiya 645 lenses on Micro Four Thirds cameras: the MAMRING, which connects the Mamiya 645 lens to the Novoflex universal A bayonet, and the MFTA, which connects the A bayonet to the camera. Together they form a precision mechanical adapter that exactly compensates the flange distance difference between the two systems, so the lens can be focused manually to infinity. No information is transmitted between lens and camera; exposure is metered in aperture-priority or manual mode.
