Novoflex Reverse Adapter for Sony E-Mount NEX-RETRO

For owners of Sony E-mount wide-angle or zoom lenses, the Novoflex NEX-RETRO opens up extreme close-up photography. It lets you mount the lens in reverse position on the camera, and the ring transfers all control functions such as aperture and EXIF data. At magnifications greater than life size, a reversed lens gives noticeably better image quality than in normal use.

With a 45 mm focal length, a 2:1 reproduction ratio can be reached with the adapter alone; greater magnifications are possible with bellows, for example 6:1 with a 35 mm lens and the BALPRO 1 bellows at full extension. Combined with the BALPRO or CASTBAL universal bellows, the NEX-RETRO forms a fully automatic bellows for the Sony E-mount system. The adapter comes with a 58 mm filter thread (stepping rings are available for other sizes) and a high-quality multi-coated protection filter for the exposed rear lens element.
