Novoflex Reversing Adapter for Micro Four Thirds MFT-RETRO

The Novoflex MFT-RETRO lets owners of Micro Four Thirds prime or zoom lenses (OM System/Olympus, Panasonic) mount the lens in reverse position on the camera for extreme close-up photography. The ring transfers all control functions. Zoom lenses are particularly recommended. The adapter has a 58 mm filter thread as standard; stepping rings are available for other filter sizes.

At magnifications greater than life size (1:1), reverse mounting gives noticeably better image quality than normal use. For example, the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-100 mm f/4 IS PRO reversed at 15 mm reaches nearly 4:1; on a BALPRO 1 bellows at full extension and 40 mm about 6:1. Combined with a BALPRO or CASTBAL series universal bellows, the MFT-RETRO turns it into a fully automatic bellows unit. A high-quality multi-coated protective filter made in Germany is supplied to protect the rear lens element.
