AJA OG-Hi5-12G-TR openGear 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 Converter with LC Fiber Transceiver
OG-Hi5-12G-TR is an openGear 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 converter. It includes a single channel LC fibre SFP transceiver that delivers a 4K/UltraHD SDI or fibre source to an HDMI destination, passing the source on through SDI or fibre to a secondary destination. The Video Source Auto Switch Over function (SDI and optical inputs) provides automatic input changeover with selectable priority: Last Valid Input, Priority SDI or Priority Optical. It provides a monitoring connection from professional 4K 12G-SDI devices to displays with HDMI 2.0 inputs, with high frame rate support up to 60p for 4K/UltraHD, and can compensate for the difference between 4K and UltraHD rasters so that UltraHD monitors can be used in 4K productions and vice versa. Up to 16 channels of embedded SDI audio are accepted and passed to 8 channels of embedded HDMI audio, with an adjustable audio delay for synchronisation with the video. A 12G-SDI single link input with a reclocked SDI loop out allows SDI monitoring or pass-through.
The card is designed for high-density openGear 2RU frames, including AJA's OG-X-FR, and is monitored and controlled with Ross DashBoard software on Windows, macOS and Linux, from a connected computer or over the local network.
