AJA OG-ColorBox openGear In-line HDR/SDR Algorithmic and LUT Color Transforms
OG-ColorBox is a colour management openGear card for the colour conversion and correction needs of broadcast, live events and on-set work. It handles HDR, SDR and Wide Color Gamut signals over 12G-SDI up to 4K/UltraHD, with ultra-low latency of less than half a video line. The processing includes a 33-point 3D LUT with tetrahedral interpolation, four 1D LUTs and two 3x3 matrices.
Six colour pipelines are available, including AJA Color, NBCU LUTs and ACES, with optional licensed upgrades for Colorfront Engine, ORION-CONVERT and BBC HLG LUTs. A frame store captures images up to 4K as 16-bit TIFF, a generator provides 14 test patterns, and overlays can show text, images and signal information. It can also down-convert 4K to 2K or UltraHD to HD, and is controlled through an embedded web server and an API for third-party integration.
