Roland VC-1-DL Bi-Directional SDI/HDMI Video Converter with Delay
The VC-1-DL converts bi-directionally between SDI and HDMI and adds frame synchronisation and independent audio and video delay of up to 9 fields (4.5 frames), useful for keeping different cameras in sync or keeping a projector in sync with an LED wall in live production, broadcast and recording. It can also delay HDCP signals, and selectable audio embedding/de-embedding routes audio to or from video devices.
The VC-1 series converters maintain the characteristics of the original signal, with rich blacks and super-whites, without interlacing artefacts or conversion errors. They support 3G-SDI level A and B as well as HD and SD-SDI, and are HDCP compliant, converting or passing HDCP signals except on SDI outputs. An on-board re-clocker compensates for attenuation of SDI signals over long cable runs, and the VC-1 RCS application for PC/Mac provides remote control.
