Roland VP-42H Video Processor
The VP-42H layers and arranges up to four HDMI video sources on a single screen with dynamic transitions, for presentations, digital signage, events and meetings. Scenes with preset arrangements of layered sources in customisable inset windows can be recalled instantly, and Motion Scene Switching moves and resizes the windows smoothly to their new positions at the touch of a button. For simpler events it works as a seamless cross-dissolve switcher with a keyer for overlays and still images from a USB drive.
Stereo RCA outputs de-embed audio from HDMI sources to speakers and mixers, with levels set by the internal mixer, while external audio connected to the RCA inputs can be embedded into the HDMI output. Scenes are configured in a web browser over the network: each layer can be scaled, cropped, zoomed and positioned by clicking and dragging, even from a tablet. Video processing is 10-bit 4:4:4.
