Roland XS-1HD Multi-Format Matrix Switcher
The XS-1HD is a tabletop matrix switcher the width of a 13" laptop, with four HDMI inputs and four HDMI outputs and 4:4:4/10-bit processing up to WUXGA/1080p. Every input has a scaler and frame synchroniser, so sources with different formats can be positioned and zoomed, and a built-in EDID emulator makes computers send the correct resolution. It suits live events, exhibits, stage events, conferences, meeting and banquet rooms.
Matrix mode routes four sources to any of four outputs, such as main and secondary screens, presenter monitor and signage. Switcher mode provides real-time switching with multiview preview, PinP, key compositing and dissolves, and Split mode shows up to four images side by side with up to three inset windows. A built-in eight-channel digital audio mixer handles the audio of the four HDMI signals plus a stereo analog input. Settings are stored as presets, still images can be loaded from USB, the unit is HDCP compliant and RS-232 allows third-party control.
