Roland XS-42H meeting room switcher connecting up to four HDMI sources to one or two displays, with auto input detection, browser control, scaling, EDID and presets.
Roland XS-42H AV Matrix Switcher for Meeting Rooms
The XS-42H lets anyone connect computers and tablets over HDMI and immediately share content on one or two screens, turning a flat-panel TV into a meeting room system for huddle spaces. It installs in minutes without AV experience, and the supplied mounting bracket allows it to be placed out of sight. Inputs can be switched from a web browser on a computer, tablet or smartphone on the same network.
Auto input detection switches to a newly connected device, while EDID and scaling ensure sources at different resolutions display correctly. When a computer is disconnected, the XS-42H can return to a specified input, such as a stored still image with the company logo, instead of a black screen. Meeting presets recall common setups with one button, and audio switches automatically with video.
