Rupert Neve Designs RNDI-S Stereo Active Transformer Direct Interface
The RNDI-S is an expanded two-channel version of the RNDI. Custom Rupert Neve-designed output transformers and class-A, discrete FET input stages deliver a powerful direct sound for basses, guitars, acoustic instruments, pre-recorded material and consumer devices, connected via the 3.5 mm stereo input.
Each channel has a 2.2 Mohm 1/4" input with parallel THRU, a transformer-balanced XLR output that drives long cable runs, and its own ground lift. An input selector switches between the 1/4" inputs and the 3.5 mm stereo input (95 kohm). Each channel is powered independently by 48 V phantom from the connected mic preamp, and the unit is built in a rugged steel frame.
