The EW-D ME4 SET is a lavalier set of the Sennheiser Evolution Wireless Digital series. It consists of the EW-D EM rack receiver, the robust EW-D SK bodypack transmitter with metal housing and the unobtrusive ME 4 clip-on microphone with cardioid pick-up pattern and high speech intelligibility, suited for daily use on stage.

Digital UHF transmission eliminates noise, interference and static bursts, with 134 dB dynamic range and a system latency of 1.9 ms. The Smart Assist app connects via Bluetooth Low Energy for setup and operation, and the automatic scan finds free frequencies with minimal effort. With up to 56 MHz of switching bandwidth the system offers up to 90 channels and 2,240 selectable frequencies, and a transmission range of up to 100 m in ideal conditions. Transmitters run up to 12 hours on the BA 70 rechargeable battery pack or up to 8 hours on two AA batteries. This version works in the Q1-6 frequency range (470.2 - 526 MHz).
