The EW-D SKM-S is the rugged and versatile handheld transmitter of the Sennheiser Evolution Wireless Digital series, for use with EW-D receivers. It has an all-metal housing, a mute switch and an interchangeable head that takes a wide range of Sennheiser and Neumann microphone modules, so the capsule can be chosen to suit the voice or application. It is set up via the receiver or the Smart Assist app over Bluetooth Low Energy and runs up to 12 hours on the BA 70 rechargeable battery pack or up to 8 hours on two AA batteries. This version works in the R4-9 frequency range (552 - 607.8 MHz).
