SmallRig Universal Mounting Clamp for External SSD 5196
The SmallRig 5196 clamp securely holds portable SSDs 40-60 mm wide and 8-17 mm thick on camera cages and L-shape plates with 1/4"-20 threaded holes or cold shoe mounts, or on MagSafe-compatible iPhones. Unlike traditional spring-loaded clamps, it has a controlled opening that prevents pinching and allows easy two-step installation and removal. An adjustable cable clamp with one-touch locking keeps the USB-C connection secure, and internal silicone pads protect the SSD from scratches and slipping. It can be mounted with the cold shoe foot on top of a cage, with two 1/4"-20 screws on the side of a cage, or directly on the back of an iPhone 12-16 via MagSafe.
