SmallRig V-Mount Battery Mount Plate Kit 5227

The SmallRig 5227 kit is a compact, all-in-one power solution made up of a V-mount battery plate, an Arca-Swiss quick release baseplate and an LCD screen protector. The plate attaches to the camera via Arca-Swiss with tool-free locking and adjustment. The baseplate has an adjustable locking lever for most Arca-Swiss plates, accepts cages and L-brackets with built-in Arca-Swiss plates directly, and is retractable to fit mirrorless cameras of different sizes. D-Tap and USB-C outputs power several devices at once without getting in the way of the camera or top handle, and the USB-C port also accepts up to 65 W PD input, so the plate can charge the V-mount battery.

The plate rotates 180°: 0° for compact storage, 90° for low-profile mounting and 180° for easy access to the LCD screen. A stainless steel gear lock keeps it steady, a damping system prevents the battery from dropping during rotation, and the battery release button has a trigger safety lever against accidental release. The modular screen protector adjusts in height and width without tools to fit most flip-screen mirrorless cameras. Cable clips, an elastic Velcro strap and multiple 1/4"-20 threaded and locating holes for magic arms complete the kit.

Notes

• If the battery cannot be fitted, disengage the trigger safety lever first
• When not in use, remove the battery or hold the power button for 3 seconds to switch off the outputs
