The SmallRig 5809 is an advanced cage kit for the Canon EOS C50 that protects the camera and turns it into a handheld rig powered by V-mount batteries for extended, uninterrupted shooting. The modular cage is compatible with the camera's XLR handle and offers multiple mounting points for handles, microphones, lights, monitors and other accessories. The Arca-Swiss quick release plate allows fast switching between DJI RS gimbals and tripods, and dedicated HDMI or USB-C cable clamps keep connections secure.
For vertical shooting, the tripod can be attached to the integrated grip so that the ports stay accessible in portrait orientation. The grip offers additional mounting points and comes with a wrist strap. The HawkLock quick release top handle mounts with a single slide, and the V-mount attachment uses stainless steel gears and a damping system for stable control under heavy loads.
