The SmallRig 5697 kit includes two batteries and a dual-channel fast charger. A full decoding chip ensures full compatibility with Nikon EN-EL15c batteries: no pop-up warnings, battery level shown in the camera and compatibility with original Nikon chargers. Each battery has a true rated capacity of 2520 mAh.

The compact charging case holds two batteries and fits in the palm of the hand. It charges two batteries simultaneously or one at a time, and with the 18W USB-C fast charging port it fully charges two batteries in about 2.5 hours. The display shows the charge level of each channel even when disconnected from power, and the battery icon flashes when the level is critically low. Over-temperature and over-voltage protection slow down or cut off charging when needed, and trickle charging near full capacity preserves battery health. A fast charging cable is included for use with wall adapters, car chargers and power banks.
