The Sonnet M.2 8x4 Silent Gen4 PCIe Card mounts up to eight NVMe SSDs (sold separately) in a single x16 PCIe 4.0 or 3.0 slot, combining speed and capacity. It is a full-height, full-length PCIe 4.0 card with a 48-lane PCIe 4.0 switch, so the bandwidth of the x16 slot is available to all x4-connected SSDs with any combination of M.2 drives. It reaches sustained RAID 0 speeds up to 30,000 MB/s, supports RAID 0, 1 and 10 and macOS boot, works in Thunderbolt expansion systems and avoids thermal throttling.
