Sonnet SF3 Series – RED MINI-MAG Pro card reader Thunderbolt 3 Black

Sonnet SF3 Series RED MINI-MAG Pro Card Reader SF3-2RMM

Shooting RED in 8K and at high frame rates fills RED MINI-MAG media quickly. The RED APPROVED Sonnet SF3 Series RED MINI-MAG Pro Card Reader ingests footage to Mac, Windows or Linux computers with Thunderbolt 3 at the fastest speeds the cards support, and can read two cards simultaneously at up to 1060 MB/s, more than double the average speed of other RED MINI-MAG readers. Older Macs with Thunderbolt 2 can be connected using the Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 adapter and a Thunderbolt 2 cable (sold separately).

SF3 Series readers have compact, rugged aluminium enclosures designed to be stacked and daisy-chained, so several readers can share one footprint and one cable to the computer; threaded mount points allow two readers side by side on a rack tray in 1U. One Thunderbolt port connects to the computer and the second supports daisy-chaining.
