Sonnet Tempo SSD 6 Gb/s SATA PCIe card that mounts two 2.5" SSDs directly on the card and installs them in a single PCIe slot, with RAID 0 and S.M.A.R.T. support.
Sonnet Tempo SSD 6Gb/s SATA PCIe Card TSATA6-SSD-E2
Older computers such as the Mac Pro or older Windows desktops have 3 Gb/s SATA interfaces that cannot run 6 Gb/s SSDs at full speed. The Sonnet Tempo SSD is a fast 6 Gb/s SATA PCI Express adapter card on which readily available 2.5" SSDs are attached, so the whole assembly installs neatly in a single PCIe slot, without power adapters or cable clutter. The two SATA III ports support RAID 0 and S.M.A.R.T.
Key features
- Two internal 6 Gb/s SATA III ports for 2.5" SSDs mounted on the card
- Installs in a single PCIe slot
- RAID 0 support
